Strengths of the academic program
STUDY OF THE THREE SPECIALTIES OF PSYCHOLOGY
Our proposal includes studies of the main specialties of Psychology: Clinical, Educational and Organizational. This seeks to give the student a comprehensive and in-depth training in Psychology, which will allow them to have a global view of Psychology and the acquisition of experiences and knowledge that will open doors in a future job market.
HUMANISTIC APPROACH
In the course, an orientation is developed that has the human person as its center, emphasizing its existential aspects, different from a psychology focused on specific aspects such as behaviors, neurology or intervention techniques. Together with the students, the existential, personal and human variables of people are studied, aiming to create a psychology with a soul.
INVESTIGATION
A quarter of the subjects in the career plan are oriented towards evaluation and research. Throughout their career, the student receives rigorous training that allows them to develop skills and abilities to objectively know the man, his family and his environment, using accurate evaluation techniques and a culture of continuous updating.
PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC TRAINING
Thanks to our Psychological Care Center (Sonqo) and the personalized supervision model that is carried out, we are proud of the quality of psychotherapists we are training. This type of Center necessarily involves practical training with patients who require proper supervision and support from duly qualified professionals.
ORIENTATION TOWARDS SOLIDARITY SERVICE
The studies and research carried out both in the degree and in the Sonqo Psychological Care Center They invite students to learn about and contribute to a reality that allows them to develop human virtues and capabilities linked to commitment, solidarity, and responsibility.
