History and Cultural Management is a degree program designed to train professionals who connect people with cultural expressions through diverse projects and initiatives in public and private spaces. This profession values heritage, history, and the arts as resources for human and social development. For 22 years, we have been training the cultural managers that our country needs.

Provides extensive cultural and intellectual training. Trains people capable of facing diverse work tasks with a solid humanistic basis.

 

Area of Fundamentals of Cultural Management

It offers a general overview of Cultural Management as a profession. It brings first-level students closer to the theoretical and practical bases of their professional career.

 

Area of Areas of the Cultural Sector

Develops each sector of arts and cultural heritage. Analyzes the theoretical foundation of each cultural field, as well as the specific characteristics of culture management.

Culture Communication Area

Introduces the student to the different tools necessary to communicate culture. Develop content in the various existing communication media.

Culture Research Area

Delve into research and analysis of the cultural sector. Students raise reflections on the different aspects involved in the management of arts and cultural heritage.

Cultural Projects Area

It is the specific training area for the professional in which the student learns and practices in the use of different methodologies on the design, execution and evaluation of development projects aimed at the cultural sector.

Free Configuration Area

They are subjects that the student will choose to complete their academic training and that are taught by other faculties or research centers of the University of Piura.
