  • Theatrical tours: theatre as a tool to reveal cultural heritage
Presentation

Today, cultural heritage management faces the challenge of creating meaningful experiences that truly connect with people. Traditional models of information dissemination are becoming increasingly ineffective with diverse audiences that demand participatory, emotional, and memorable experiences. In this context, the use of innovative methodologies that integrate art, education, and communication becomes essential to promoting the appreciation and social appropriation of cultural heritage.

Methodology:

This specialization course offers a unique training program that integrates heritage interpretation with the performing arts. Through a theoretical-practical approach, participants will learn to design innovative cultural experiences that transform how the public engages with heritage, turning guided tours into experiential, reflective, and emotionally meaningful activities. The program combines conceptual foundations, participatory methodologies, and creative exercises that allow for the application of theater as a pedagogical and communicative tool in cultural contexts.

Addressed to:

Educators, performing artists, cultural mediators, cultural managers, tour guides and heritage professionals, as well as anyone interested in the design of innovative cultural experiences.

Learnings:

By the end of the course, participants will have developed the skills to design, structure, and present proposals for theatrical guided tours applicable to diverse heritage contexts. They will also possess methodological tools, stage resources, and ethical criteria that will enable them to create high-impact cultural experiences, contributing to the dissemination, appreciation, and sustainability of cultural heritage from a humanistic perspective.
