This conference is part of the activities carried out by the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Piura, through the Bicentennial Project, started in 2012, and whose sole purpose has been to create an academic space, with interdisciplinary content, that allows us to address the study and reflection, both of the processes of consolidation of independence in Peru, and of the projections of our republican history starting from the battle of Ayacucho.

Conoce el Proyecto Bicentenario
En 2012, desde el Instituto de Estudios Humanísticos de la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad de Piura, nos propusimos generar un espacio de intercambio académico y reflexión, preparándonos así para la celebración de los 200 años de la independencia del Perú.
Con el congreso “El Perú después de la Batalla de Ayacucho”, culmina este proyecto del bicentenario que ha sido una oportunidad invaluable para reflexionar, desde las humanidades, no solo sobre los eventos pasados en nuestro país, sino, sobre todo, para descubrir quiénes somos ahora y profundizar en el significado de nuestra identidad como nación independiente y soberana.
Del Proyecto Bicentenario, fruto del trabajo de investigadores y profesores universitarios, compartimos el registro de actividades y publicaciones.
