Universidad de Piura awards recognition to schools, which have been outstandingly training their students, this training is demosntrated by the students’ performance once they become Universidad de Piura students and in the good results obtained in the Academic Aptitude Test.

This recognition consists on favoring students who obtain a global average equal or higher than that demanded by UDEP for each of the schools with direct  entrance to the University. The global average is the result of all grades from the third year up to the first half of fifth year of high school.
