Personalized couseling

An aspect that distinguishes the Universidad de Piura is the personalized teaching and academic couseling it provides for its students. Each university student has the opportunity of choosing his/her counselor, among the professors from his/her Faculty. Counselors provide information and guide students in the optimizing of their stay at university.

Counselors help students in the definition of their professional calling and personal goals, motivating them to always give their best. It is the high percentage of full time professors –there is one professor for every thirteen students – which makes this personalized relationship possible, the same which guarantees a truly university training, in an atmosphere of study, friendship and dialogue.
